La Universidad Autónoma de Madrid fue la anfitriona del XLIII Congreso de la Sociedad Española de Farmacología que tuvo lugar en el Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM) del 2 al 4 de septiembre de 2026.

Premios a las mejores comunicaciones concedidos en el XLIII National Meeting Sociedad Española de Farmacología.

Durante la XLIII Reunión Nacional de la Sociedad Española de Farmacología se dieron a conocer los premios a las dos mejores comunicaciones, promovidas por el Comité Organizador.

El Comité Organizador evaluó las comunicaciones en formato póster presentadas y premió las siguientes:

• Eduardo Oliver que presentó el poster titulado “New SGK1 inhibitors alleviates pulmonary arterial hypertension and vascular remodeling in a mice model”. Autores: Natalia Bustos, Bertha García-León, Yolanda Sierra-Palomares, Enrique Madruga, Loreto Martínez-González, Laura de la Bastida-Casero, Lola Navarro-Llinares, Gerri Bredeck, Isabel Lastres-Becker, Ana M. Briones, Ana Martínez, Eduardo Oliver.
• Elena Tortosa que presentó el poster titulado “STMN2 loss induces cholesterol dysregulation in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis”. Autores: Claudia Fernández-Cuétara, Gemma de la Fuente, Silvia Romero-Murillo, Joaquín Fernández-Irigoyen, Enrique Santamaría, Pilar Negredo, Elena Tortosa.

El primer autor de las comunicaciones premiadas recibirá una inscripción gratuita para el próximo Congreso Nacional de la Sociedad que se celebrará en Málaga.

It is a pleasure to invite you to the XLIII Annual Meeting of the Spanish Society of Pharmacology, which will take place from September 2nd to 4th, 2026, at Ilustre Colegio Oficial de Médicos de Madrid (ICOMEM), in Madrid, Spain.

As in previous editions, the meeting is expected to bring together a large number of pharmacologists, along with scientists and professionals from related disciplines such as medicine, pharmacy, biomedical sciences and chemistry.

We are currently preparing a diverse and engaging scientific program that will cover cutting-edge topics in pharmacology and therapeutics, featuring renowned keynote speakers, insightful panel discussions, and innovative research presentations, including symposia, oral presentations, and poster sessions.

Recognizing that the future of science depends on the next generation of researchers, this year’s conference will place a special emphasis on supporting early-career scientists. In order to encourage their participation through short research presentations, grants will be offered to help cover their expenses to attend the meeting.

The vibrant city of Madrid will provide an outstanding backdrop for this event. Its unique combination of historical heritage, cultural vitality, and modern infrastructure makes it an ideal place to host scientific exchange while also offering numerous opportunities for social interaction and networking.
