Invited societies (by alphabetical order): French Pharmacological Society/Helenic Pharmacological Society/Italian Pharmacological Society/Portuguese Pharmacological Society
Drug discovery processes have experienced a dramatic change in the last years moving from in-house programs to the Open Innovation paradigm where public-private partnerships are being stablished looking for more efficient processes. Thus, there is a new place for pharmacology in the global Open Innovation framework playing a new key role to leap over the gap from basic transformational science to real therapeutic solutions.
Within this open innovation framework and focusing in the translation of pharmacological results the meeting will focus in Translational Pharmacology, being a joint meeting of the Spanish Pharmacological Society and the Spanish Pharmacogenomics and Pharmacogenetics Society
Furthermore the French, Helenic, Italian and Portuguese pharmacological societies are going to participate as invited societies allowing sharing the top-class research carried out by the members of these societies.
The program includes plenary lectures, roundtables and poster sessions for sharing and discussing the novel advances in our disciplines. We also want to offer a networking environment for young researchers, thus those communications selected by the scientific committee will be presented as short communications in the main roundtables. We look forward to seeing you in Santiago de Compostela in 2018.
